Overview

ODP Business Solutions is seeking a Senior Account Manager to focus on establishing key relationships within the hospitality industry. As a Senior Account Manager, you will travel within your assigned territory to drive revenue growth by identifying new opportunities and delivering tailored solutions to meet customer needs.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive Sales and Growth:
    • Actively pursue and close opportunities within your assigned territory, customarily and regularly traveling to meet customers with little or no supervision.
    • Strategically expand product offerings, introduce new categories, and collaborate with specialists to deepen category penetration.
  • Customer Satisfaction:
    • Grow revenue by addressing service needs, solving problems, and ensuring continued satisfaction, resulting in increased customer loyalty.
    • Negotiate and rebid contracts, develop pricing strategies, and handle bids and proposals that align with profitability goals.
  • Thought Leadership and Strategy:
    • Lead sales initiatives, collaborate with coworkers, and develop innovative selling strategies to exceed goals.
    • Serve as a thought leader by mentoring and sharing best practices with the wider sales team.
  • Data Integrity and CRM Management:
    • Maintain accurate customer data and business records within the ODP Business Solutions CRM system.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies while supporting business planning and implementing creative sales solutions.

 

What You Bring:

  • Experience:
    • High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • 5+ years of successful strategic account sales and/or account management experience (8+ years preferred), with a proven track record of exceeding goals, particularly at the C-suite level.
  • Skills and Technical Expertise:
    • Skilled in customer relationship management, negotiation, and tailoring solutions to client needs.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools such as Salesforce.
    • Ability to create and deliver engaging presentations and proposals for key decision-makers.
  • Mindset:
    • Customer-focused with a "hunter" mentality for business growth opportunities and the ability to negotiate contracts for new, renewed, or amended agreements.
    • Entrepreneurial spirit with a coachable attitude and a commitment to continuous learning and development.
    • Comfortable working independently while managing deadlines, multitasking, and thriving in a collaborative team environment.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule: The salary range for this role is $75,000/year to $110,000/year, however all state and local minimum wages will be complied with, resulting in a possible adjustment to the salary range displayed. In addition to base salary you will be eligible to participate in an incentive program, paid in accordance with the Incentive Plan terms and conditions.
