Overview

The Product Management Operations Manager role is crucial in optimizing and streamlining product management processes. Role will help drive efficiency and effectiveness within our organization by overseeing several key operational aspects of product management. The Product Management Operations manager will lead tracking and analyzing vendor funding, category reporting and verifying proper set up and maintenance of sku’s and content. The role needs to have a keen understanding of the product management function, strong analytical capabilities, and a proven track record of process optimization and documentation. The Product Management Operations manager must be an effective communicator who works cross-functionally managing assigned projects and executing key initiatives

 

Please note to be considered for this opportunity you MUST have B2B product management experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry or with an organization that produces physical product.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities to improve or streamline product management processes, develop and document processes.
  • Manage execution of product management projects and initiatives.
  • Assume responsibility for tracking and analyzing vendor funding, category reporting and validating sku and content setup and maintenance duties.
  • Leverage knowledge to provide on-going product support to the product management team.
  • Analyze data from market research and industry data, to develop market-based insights for use by product management team.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, track performance, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Communicate product initiatives, product changes and launch activities to key internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on product related activities and initiatives.

 

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Econ or equivalent experience
  • Years of Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in related field
  • Type of Experience: B2B Product Management of physical/durable good, Project Management, Product Marketing, Product Sales, and/or Business Development
  • Technical Competencies & Information Systems: Basic computer skills and the ability to use computers and technology for information, and to access information necessary to complete the job.
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret market data and make data-driven decisions.
    • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, can prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
    • Customer focused mindset with a passion for creating value and driving business success.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Preferred Skills and Experience:
    • Knowledge of building science, commercial construction practices, codes, and standards preferred but not required.
    • Knowledge of category management (branding, supply chain, manufacturing, pricing, marketing, and sales) preferred. · Experience working in a matrixed organization preferred.

 

*Remote: While this position does not currently require relocation, candidates within a radius of our physical locations, including, but not be limited to Boca Raton, Itasca, and Austin, will be required to work in the office a minimum of two days a week beginning in September 2024.
