Overview

The Senior Analyst, Rebate Programs role is responsible for managing and improving the BSD rebate process and program; as well as ensuring accurate documentation of all customer incentive program details in the rebate database. Additionally, responsible for timely and accurate calculations and reporting of all Contract Sales customer rebate and incentive programs. This position acts as a subject matter expert in the area of Contract Sales customer rebate and incentive programs. This role will be assigned a group of BSD customers with a target responsibility of ~$60,000,000 in rebate payments, and continuously reviews rebate processes to proactively recommend and implement changes to improve the customer experience and improve the accuracy and timeliness of rebate payments. 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead responsibility for Contract Sales rebate database processes and procedures. Acts as a subject matter expert and resource for entire rebate documentation and approval process. Proactively identifies process improvements to the rebate process and works in partnership with the field sales leadership team to implement the changes.      
  • Manages the Contract Sales customer incentive program for a designated customer base totaling $60,000,000 in rebate payments. Ensures timely and accurate payments and reporting of incentives at the customer level. Build forecast models to predict rebate payments and communicates risks to the business.           
  • Reviews rebate programs entered into rebate database to ensure required internal approvals are received. Responsible for accuracy of rebates entered into the database against the written agreement prior to activation. Ensures financial accruals reported are accurate.     
  • Approves rebates and activates payment process by sending check request to accounting for payment.        
  • Leads partnership with Contract Sales field team and accounting team to ensure accurate understanding and documentation of rebate program in the rebate database. 
  • Responds in a timely fashion to emails and questions regarding customer rebates. 
  • Trains Contract Sales field team on rebate program and prepares training materials as needed. 
  • Leads the process of maintaining sales data query and reporting tools. Acts as a subject matter expert to the team Rebate Administrators for sales data and reporting tools.

              

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business accounting or finance, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years’ experience 
  • SAP, Oracle and SQL database queries and reporting knowledge
  • Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Access
